Jay-Z and Oprah, two of the most influential people int he world, discussed his bestseller "Decoded" and her newfound insight into rap culture after reading the book. In the past, Oprah has been a firm voice against rap music and has publicly exclaimed her hate for the music.

Their teacher wrote a letter to Oprah detailing the effect Jay-Z has had on their lives and how he has shown them that "you can come from the bottom and reach the top."
